About This Product

Springtails (Folsomia candida) are tiny arthropods that are used as "tank janitors" in a terrarium, eating mold and waste. They also make a great supplemental snack for animals that like small food, such as dart frogs.

Springtails will reproduce in the tank. Simply add the entire springtail culture to your terrarium and mix it into your substrate. To keep springtail populations high, feed weekly with Josh's Frogs Spring to Life Springtail food or Clean-Up Crew Cuisine^TM.
