This is one of Josh's Frogs Producing Fruit Fly Cultures, containing Drosophila hydei, and will be 21-23 days old when you receive it. Drosophila hydei are larger about 1/8" and are an ideal food for poison dart frogs, fish, praying mantis, young frogs and toads, and other reptiles, amphibians, or captive animals that require small foods. Each culture is made with Josh's Frogs World Famous Fruit Fly Media, containing vitamins, minerals, and color enhancers that make our cultures produce an amazing amount of flies! Josh's Frogs sold over 80,000 Fruit Fly Cultures in 2014, making us the largest producer of Fruit Fly Cultures in the world! For optimal production, Josh's Frogs Drosophila hydei Fruit Fly Cultures should be kept at 75-78F and 60-80%. Josh's Frogs Drosophila hydei Fruit Fly Cultures will be 21-23 days old when you receive them! This culture should produce for about 2 weeks if kept in these conditions.
Producing Fruit Fly Cultures will be ready to use 1-3 days after you receive them!

Fruit Flies Auto Delivery
Fruit flies and packaging A+ but ff's all dead. Delivered by FedEx and when I picked up box as driver was pulling away the box was very warm on bottom. Went in house and measured temp and took pics. I always forget to document but I was so upset with FedEx that last few deliveries. As you can see in pics the temp of the ff's. They had them sitting someplace very hot and never read the labels on box. My deliveries always come in late afternoon. I had been tracking to see if it was a pattern and it was. Now as far as Josh's they had packed them great but there was no form of cool pack or had suggested any. Other than that Josh's was great and refunded me and gave credit. I did not tell them this last order was bad because they had comped and resent several and had been very pleasant the whole time and really worked with me. Finally through my arms up and said that's it. Will cancel autoship till the weather cools a little. FedEx has really put me in a bind. I now have to order from a different place costing me a lot more. FedEx has always been the worst shippers boxes crushed and upside down. Ff's very hot where the put them in any direction never reading package labels. Again the bad deliveries have not been fault of Josh's other than maybe putting some kind of cool pack which I don't mind being charged for. I was making over 60 ff's a week and do to my health can no longer do. Slowly getting rid of my many frogs. Really hurts.

These Hydei fruit flies are perfect for my spiderlings and young praying mantis. The cultures are fresh and loaded with fruit flies! I highly recommend this product for your hobby
