About This Product
This kit contains everything you need to set up an 18x18x12 bioactive enclosure for your Bynoe's gecko!
Key products include:
- Glass Terrarium and Lighting: Exactly what you need to promote plant growth, provide UV and have happy geckos!
- Substrate Items: Mix the ABG, sand, and leaf litter together for a great bioactive substrate!
- Humidity Control & Monitoring: A spray bottle allows you to mist the tank to keep the humidity right where it needs to be. The thermo-hygrometer helps you monitor the temperature and humidity levels within the tank. Humidity levels should be between 30-40% and ambient temps should be in the upper 70s, with a basking spot of around 85-90°.
- Live Plants: Planting your gecko enclosure with desert plants is both visually appealing and a great way to simulate a natural environment for your pet. We’ve selected a handful of plants for this kit that are considered basic, easy-to-care-for plants that should thrive in your gecko vivarium.
- Isopods: Isopods are small bugs that will live in the substrate of your bioactive terrarium and eat any uneaten gecko food and waste left in your tank. Simply dump the entire culture directly into the substrate.
- Food Dish & Décor: A dish to provide fresh food for your gecko friends. Also includes the Josh's Frogs Dechlorinator to remove harmful chlorine from water. Other décor items will help to create a naturalistic setup for your gecko, and visually enhance your setup!
