About This Product
Josh’s Frogs Horticultural Charcoal is the second layer in the terrarium. It acts as a filter and keeps the terrarium fresh. Only a thin layer is needed to cover the drainage layer. The amount of charcoal needed will be half the amount of the drainage layer.

nice, wish it was a little bigger
This i found to be a bit too small for most of the applications i wanted it for. What it did great for, was an extra layer above the mesh lining along my false bottom! Some of the pieces were a bit sharp, and i dont think i would recommend mixing with the substrate, or in a springtail culture, in case you ever put your hand in the culture and got poked.
