About This Product

Live moss is the perfect way to bring a piece of nature into your home. Under proper lighting and humidity, the live moss will green up and begin to spread, eventually creating a green jungle oasis in your vivarium that your reptile or amphibian pets will love. Moss also looks great in fairy gardens, to add extra humidity to potted plants, or even as an accent to semi-aquatic gardens. The possibilities are endless!

Live Moss is cultivated in the Carolinas and is retrieved from wild sources. As a result, live moss may occasionally produce wild mushrooms or invertebrates. As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home.

wonderfull color!

You get so much for a great price. The color and condition it comes in must be seen to be believed. Went right in the tank, and looked natural, as if it had been growing for months.

Good Moss

I purchased 1 quart of the sheet moss. It was packaged in a plastic deli container. The container was very full and the moss was nice and green.

Lots of moss

This package has more than enough for my crested vivarium. It arrived healthy and looks great. I feel it’s lost a touch of color after a couple weeks in the tank but is still acclimating, and I’m sure it will fill in great.
