About This Product

Live moss is the perfect way to bring a piece of nature into your home. Under proper lighting and humidity, the live moss will green up and begin to spread, eventually creating a green jungle oasis in your vivarium that your reptile or amphibian pets will love. Moss also looks great in fairy gardens, to add extra humidity to potted plants, or even as an accent to semi-aquatic gardens. The possibilities are endless!

Live Moss is cultivated in the Carolinas and is retrieved from wild sources. As a result, live moss may occasionally produce wild mushrooms or invertebrates. As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home.

Love this mood moss

The bag had a lot of moss in it and it was nice a green with no pest. My moss is still looking good in my toad tank.

Easy to grow

Bought this from a show a while back, it’s extremely easy to grow. My crested geckos enjoy sleeping on this particular moss. Would recommend to any first time moss grower !

About half of the moss that I got came in nice and green. The other half was starting to turn brown. I haven't had a chance to try and rejuvenate it. Additionally There were a lot of flies (or some other bug) in the container. I needed to wash it out with filtered water before using .

Love this stuff!

I read the article on putting the mood moss in the 6" cloche and had to make it. There was enough moss left over to make a terrarium.
