Superworms are the larvae of the beetle Zophobas morio, also known at the darkling beetle. Superworms are easy to culture and not prone to escape, making them a common feeder insect for reptiles and amphibians. Superworms have a higher ratio of flesh:exoskeleton than mealworms, making them an ideal food source for moderate to large size reptiles and amphibians. Superworms will not pupate into beetles if housed in close quarters with other superworms - this tactic is commonly used to suspend maturation into the adult form. Keep superworms at room temperature.
Large Superworms range from about 1.25-2 inches.
Superworms are a great feeder insect for: bearded dragons, leopard geckos, monitors, turtle, geckos, and other lizards.

I've tried buy from Amazon and local stores but the Superworms they have are usually smaller and don't last nearly as long. I always end up coming back here
Very dependable!
I was very happy when I got my worms they were active and apealing to my beardie. I also tried breeding them, it is a lot of work but it is worth it. Thanks once again!
Couldn't be happier. Every superworm is fat and highly active. My critters are already starting to enjoy their juicy treats. Two thumbs up!
They are large super worms and if a few will not due. then this is a good size, what more can i say ?
