HORNWORMS CANNOT SHIP TO ALASKA!
Hornworms are a fantastic feeder for your reptile and amphibian pets. Hornworms are high in calcium (47mg/100g) and low in fat (3%). Hornworms also have a soft exoskeleton, making eating and digestion easy! A wide variety of reptiles and amphibians love hornworms, including bearded dragons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, pacman frogs, monitors, tegus, skinks, pixie frogs, and many tree frogs.
The container has a healthy gutloading food for hornworms, as well as 12 (generally 14-16) healthy hornworms, ready to be fed to your pets. These hornworms are approximately 1/2" when they are shipped out. They will grow in transit, and will be larger when you receive them (especially in warm weather). You can also allow the worms to continue to grow. With the food present, they will reach 4" long and weigh about 10 grams. Please note these hornworms are young when shipped, so they will last longer for you! They will grow larger before they run out of food! If you're looking for more worms that will grow up to 1.5" or so, check out our 25 count Hornworm Pod.
Try Repashy's SuperHorn to serve up more food for your hornworms! Now available in 3 oz, 6 oz, 12 oz, and 70.4 oz jars!
Store the pod upside down, with the food at the top. This way, the hornworms will climb up to eat, and their waste will fall to the 'bottom' of the container for easy cleanup. Make sure to place them on a wire rack or something similar, so that they receive proper ventilation. Hornworms will grow the fastest when kept in the low 80s F, but can be kept as low as the mid 50s F to slow growth. Hornworms can also be kept in the fridge (at 45F) for 2 days, then removed for one day, to slow growth.

My Water Dragon loves these. They arrived super healthy. I haven't been able to find any horn worms locally that looked decent and healthy, so I am more than willing to pay shipping to get these beauties from Josh's Frogs.

I thought I ordered 25 small hornworms, but received 12 large ones instead. This turned out fine. My gecko got so excited when I put one of these big caterpillars in her terrarium, she tore it in half. She loves them! I've never seen her get so excited about her prey before.

Just wanted to take the time to write this review since I just received my shipment. I really love that you use the taller plastic containers it makes it easier and gives them enough room and food to grow for my larger lizards. Also they will all living and in great condition plus a lot of hornworm in each container. Will be purchasing again
