This is the 2nd stage of filtration in the Josh's Frogs Reverse Osmosis System. Activated Carbon has a huge surface area, which allows it to react with and chemically remove a wide variety of impurities. It removes organic matter, chlorine, odor, and turbidity from your water.
It's recommended to change this every 6-12 months, depending on your water use.
