This is the 3rd stage of filtration in the Josh's Frogs Reverse Osmosis System. Activated Carbon has a huge surface area, which allows it to interact with and chemically remove many impurities from the water. It further removes organic matter, chlorine, odor, and turbidity from your water. It's recommended to change this every 6-12 months, depending on your water use.
