Care Notes: Prefers shady conditions and consistently moist soils rich in nutrients. Protect your Alocasia from drying or damaging winds and direct sunlight that may cause browning of the leaves. 

*Alocasias are mildly toxic to both humans and pets as all parts of the plant contain calcium oxalate crystals. We deem this plant safe for use with the above animals, but the more risk-averse may wish to avoid it
