This Josh's Frogs Shipping Kit provides a secure, climate-controlled environment for transporting sensitive species. Each kit features a heavy-duty 7x7x8 inch outer box paired with precision-cut 1-inch thick insulated foam panels that line all sides. This high-density insulation acts as a thermal barrier, stabilizing internal temperatures against external fluctuations while providing an extra layer of structural protection during transit.

Depending on shipping temperatures, you may want to add one or more of the following shipping supplies:

• Gel packs: These act as a temperature buffer, keeping temps stable during transit. When we ship, we place a gel pack below and above the animals in the box. These can also be frozen and used as ice packs to lower temps during transit!
• EcoTherm Phase Change Shipping Packs: These packs are designed to help keep temperatures stable during shipping. The product has a high specific heat—it takes a lot of energy for it to change temperature, and turns from solid to liquid at 74°F. EcoTherm Shipping Packs will help buffer temps when using ice or heat packs, and help avoid extreme temperature swings during shipping.
• Heat Packs: If transit temps are lower than what's suggested for the critters you're shipping, you can choose a heat pack of the appropriate duration.

And of course, don't forget the shipping container (and lid)! This box holds 2 - 16 oz. containers, 3- 8 oz. containers, or 5- 4 oz. plastic containers. The inside dimensions when lined with foam are 5x5x6. The outside dimensions are approximately 7.25x7.25x8.5.
