ISOPODS

Isopods are tiny crustaceans, often referred to as "pill bugs" or "roly-polies." Depending on species, they can range from 1/4-3/4 of an inch in length.

These isopods make a great clean-up crew for bioactive habitats while also serving as a snack for small reptiles and amphibians.

ROACHES

Many species of roaches make fascinating inhabitants for bioactive enclosures! For some varieties, such as these, young spend most of their time burrowing. As they age, the roaches become more active—and more visible!

Care is simple: keep substrate moist, and feed fruits, veggies, and a prepared roach diet.

'PEDE IN A POD

This pod contains 1 young, captive-bred millipede, with enough food & substrate to last 3 to 6 months. Add water as the substrate dries.

Once the substrate is depleted (noted by small excreted balls), transfer your ‘pede into a larger, long-term enclosure.
