Josh’s Frogs Seedling Starter Soil is a specially formulated mixture of peat, vermiculite, perlite and endomycorrhizal fungi. Endomycorrhizal fungi work in a mutually beneficial relationship with plant roots by attaching themselves to the roots. This increases the root system of the plant and allows for more nutrient and water absorption. Endomycorrhizal fungi stay dormant in the mix until roots start to develop. Once roots are detected, the spores to come to life.
