Smooth Sided Toads are considered novice to intermediate to keep and are one of the largest toad species. This species' geographic range extends from Amazonian Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Bolivia to the Guianas and central Amazonian Brazil. In their native habitat they spend their time on the forest floor. Planting your Smooth Sided Toad’s vivarium is a great way to simulate a natural environment and boost the visual appeal of your pet’s enclosure. We’ve selected a handful of plants for this kit that are considered basic, easy to care for plants that should thrive in your Smooth Sided Toad vivarium.

You will receive two plants of our choice appropriately sized for a 24x18x18 / 20 Gallon Long vivarium.

As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly, removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home.
