About This Product
Cholla wood is great in arid enclosures, where it is very tough and durable. When exposed to humid or wet conditions, cholla wood will break down over time. This can be beneficial when animals are present that consume the biofilm that forms on the wood (such as shrimp or wood eating fish).
Cholla is great for providing visual barriers and hiding places, and can help animals feel safe and secure.
We do not recommend Cholla wood in tropical vivaria.
