Swedish ivy is a plant in the family Lamiaceae (Labiatae), genus Plectranthus, native to southern Africa. Despite its common name, it is not a true form of ivy and it is not native to Sweden. It is, however, a fast growing, resilient, plant that will crawl and trail beautifully!

For this bundle, we have put together 3 different types of Swedish Ivy that each have their own unique characteristics: Plectranthus australis - Swedish Ivy (Green) is the classic original with shiny green foliage and scalloped edges on its leaves. Plectranthus australis - Variegated Swedish Ivy (Mint) is the green’s variegated sibling, with a softer, variegated leaf, and earthy smell. Plectranthus oertendahlii 'Emerald Lace' Swedish Ivy is the fuzziest of the 3, and it grows darker green leaves with silver veining and dark red undersides.

Each order comes with 3 Swedish Ivy plants in 2-3 inch pots.

• 1 - Plectranthus oertendahlii 'Emerald Lace' Swedish Ivy

If a listed species is not available, our Plant Team will select a comparable plant as a substitute.

As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly, removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Plants from Josh’s Frogs are specifically grown to be safe for use with animals. Live plants may vary in color, size and appearance.
