The plants included in this bundle are plugs and are held in a 72-cell plug tray. The reseller can choose to sell as rooted plugs or pot the plants in a suitable substrate. Bundles are intended to be sold as smaller kits, but plants can also be sold individually or bundled however the reseller chooses.

Plant Bundle Breakdown: The Rooted Plug Tropical Wholesale Vivarium Plant Bundle is intended to be broken down into 12 smaller vivarium plant kits. These kits are suitable for species that require tropical conditions that are housed in a 10+ gallon vivarium. Each individual kit should contain 2 tropical plants, 2 vining plants, and 2 ferns.

How to Care for Plant Bundle: Plants will come in a 72-cell plug tray placed into a standard flat tray.

To water:

1. Lift the plug tray out of the standard flat tray and add 1-2 inches of water. Allow plants to sit in water for no longer than 30 minutes.
2. Drain any excess water. Use only reverse osmosis, distilled or pure water. Never use tap water.
3. Water 2-3 times a week as plugs become dry. Keep plants out of direct sunlight.

If Reselling as Rooted Plugs: Once plant(s) have been purchased, we recommend wrapping the root balls in wet paper towel and then gently wrapping the paper towel-covered root ball in bubble wrap. From there the plant can fully be wrapped in dry packing paper. 

If Reselling as Potted: Once plants arrive in the plug tray allow 1-2 days for the plants to acclimate after their time in transit. After 1-2 days, the plants can be potted into 2-3 inch pots with a suitable substrate. We recommend using Josh’s Frogs Potting Soil. 

If potting the plants, please keep in mind that it is recommended to wash all plants thoroughly, removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in a vivarium.

*Bromeliads, Sansevieria, and Dracaena are shipped bare root, without soil or pots. All other plant varieties will be shipped with soil around the roots.
