Tank Toppers are a great way to expand your current tank! If you do not have room to upgrade your tank's footprint, you can expand up instead of out.

These kits are made with hermit crabs in mind, but could also be used for other arboreal animals. Every Tank Topper Kit comes with a 3D background, an optional heating pad, an LED light, 1-2 wood climbing items, 1-2 flexible coco items, and 2-3 vines.

* Please note that if the base tank is longer than the topper, you will have to create a custom lid for the open area.

This 24x18x18 Topper Kit is compatible with tanks measuring 30 breeder, 40 breeder, 75 gallon, 90 gallon and 125 gallons.

Exo Terra Glass Terrarium (24x18x18)

Exo Terra glass terrariums are a clear favorite around our facility. We use them for many of our tree frogs, toads, reptiles, and other critters. These versatile tanks are well suited for many kinds of set-ups, including paludariums, tropical, desert, artificial, or naturalistic. For use as a topper, remove the screen lid and and flip upside-down so that the glass bottom is now at the top. Align the plastic outer rim of the new (upside-down) tank with the plastic rim of the existing (right-side up) terrarium. For extra security, use Velcro or black duct tape to attach the topper to the bottom terrarium.

Josh's Frogs Natural Virgin Cork Sheet (~24x18")

Upgrade your critter's habitat with a stylish and Natural Virgin Cork Sheet. Cork is perfect for vivarium use since it is anti-microbial and moisture resistant, allowing it to hold up well in humid environments.

Exo Terra terrariums come with a foam background that should be removed for use with hermit crabs. If using this topper kit with another animal, this planter mat can be removed if the foam background is preferred.

Josh's Frogs Green Gro LED Fixture (24 inch, 39 Watt)

Josh's Frogs Green Gro LED fixtures come with a moisture barrier that protects the LEDs from humidity, and diffuses intense 6400K light over a wider area than other available LEDs. Our LEDs are also vented, which extends the life of the bulb. This Josh's Frogs Green Gro LED Fixture measures 12 inches long.

Toppers need extra lighting for viewing and this LED is great for bright light without excess heat. Since the top is glass, we do not recommend switching this bulb for a heat lamp when using for other animals.

Cork Flat (Large)

Cork flats are a great way to provide a climbing path into the topper for creatures that cannot scale glass. Place vertically in the main tank under the topper. These flats are usually 12-15 inches long and 7-9 inches wide.

Easily customize your pets' enclosures! Our Coco Tree Branch allows for flexible placement and versatility with your layout. These branches will make amazing perches and basking spots for your arboreal pets. 

Josh's Frogs Coco Flexi-Bridge (~20 x 4 inch)

These bridges bend and twist to fit the needs of your habitat layout! They're excellent for customizing the enclosure of many reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Coco covers both sides, providing a natural aesthetic. These can be used as a bridge up to the topper or as a ledge within the topper.

Josh's Frogs Coco Flexi-Vine (2.1 m, ~6.9 ft.)

This flexible vine is covered in natural coco fiber, and can be bent to shape so you have the freedom to make your terrarium as unique as your animals!

Plastic Vines with Suction Cups

This kit comes with three medium plastic vines with suction cups to place on either side of the topper. These are great for both climbing and hiding as well as adding some color to the topper.
