What happened in 2016? A year in review!

When asked to choose a few words to describe 2016 at Josh's Frogs, many individuals on the team chose the word, growth. And they would be right, a TON of growth happened in the last year for our team. We grew bigger in space, in knowledge, in experience, in efficiency, in so many ways. We wanted to share the highlights of 2016 with our community!
  • We won the Bizrate Circle of Excellence for a 3rd year in a row
  • Rolled out free shipping on feeder insect snack packs, Repashy products, and Pangea products
  • Went to the Reptile Super Show in Pomona, CA for the first time
  • We launched Sprig & Stone by Josh's Frogs
  • First time successfully breeding in our facility: F2 (second generation captive bred) Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads Golden mantellas - endangered species Mantella pulchra (beautiful mantella) Theloderma coricale (Mossy Frog) Polypedates otilophus (Borneo Eared Frog)
  • We brought on 10 employees over the course of the year
  • We added about 40 new products to our Josh's Frogs line (Terrarium Cleaning Sponges, Tadpole Foods, Worm Bedding, etc.)
  • Increased Customer Service Representatives to more quickly respond to customers
  • We began selling Zoo Med products
  • The Shipping Dept. expanded into the entire first floor of our building
  • Daisy & Andy were added to the family (our two favorite pups)
  • Dart Frogs expanded into two rooms
