Cork Bark is a product that we love at Josh's Frogs - it can be found on every floor of our facilities for a variety of projects and displays. We use and sell so much cork, we order in a full semi-truck load every couple of years!

Because Cork is so versatile, we offer both tubes and flats to try and accommodate different needs.

There are a number of reasons we like cork bark so much around here! First, it provides ideal places for reptiles to sleep, hide, and take a break. Second, it mimics a natural environment. Also, it isn't just good for reptiles and amphibians; it can often benefit tarantulas and many insects as well in providing hiding and resting spots. Possibly the best aspects of cork bark are its unique qualities: light weight, rot resistant, non toxic. Did we mention they offer a sense of natural beauty?

Cork Bark Flats are sections of bark from trees farmed in Portugal, and is a completely renewable resource, as the trees can be harvested every 7 years. Because it can be stripped from trees at appropriate intervals, trees don't need to be cut down for the use of the bark. Since new bark grows in its place, it doesn't cause harm or disturbance to this natural resource.

For a visually appealing, natural look to add to your amphibian, reptile, or insect enclosure, cork is a win-win for you and your pets.
