Can I get a wholesale account?

YES! As long as you plan to carry our catalog of quality products in your physical store or at a tradeshow, we’ll happily set you up with a wholesale account. We offer our own proprietary line of substrates, lighting, and other dry goods, the largest selection of feeder insects in the U.S., live plants, and only captive-bred animals.

What is your order minimum?

We don’t have one! Wholesale partners are free to order as much or little as they want with their wholesale accounts.

How do I place a wholesale order?

It’s so easy! Simply log in with your wholesale account and place your order like normal. The only difference between ordering wholesale and retail is what you pay. If you aren’t logged in with your wholesale account, you’ll pay our retail prices as well as sales tax.

Never placed an order before? Here’s how:

1. Click Account in the top right corner and sign in with your wholesale email and password.

2. Shop our website and add products to your cart

3. Click Cart in the top right corner to view your cart, then click Checkout

4. Fill in the required information and click Review Order

5. If everything is correct, click Place Order

Do you offer freight shipping for large orders?

Yes, we offer freight shipping for wholesale orders exceeding 300 pounds. We charge a flat rate of $350 per freight shipment if a liftgate is required, or $250 if no lift gate is required, with no limit on the number of pallets. Once the products in your cart exceed 300 pounds of total combined weight, our system will automatically apply freight shipping. If the estimated freight cost exceeds our flat rate, the difference will appear on your cart total as a discount. The more you order, the more you'll save!

Note that freight shipping is only available for wholesale customers, so you must be logged in with your wholesale account at checkout for freight shipping to apply.

How do I order a freight shipment?

First, log in with your wholesale account. Then, build your cart like normal. Once the products in your cart exceed 300 pounds of total combined weight, our system will automatically turn it into a freight shipment. Freight shipping is not available for non-wholesale customers or carts weighing less than 300 pounds.

How do I know if I need a lift gate?

If your facility has a loading dock for semi-trailers, then you shouldn't need a lift gate. Otherwise, a lift gate is required. Our system automatically decides whether to include a lift gate based on your delivery address. If you think it made a mistake, let us know. We'll update your profile accordingly.

Do wholesale accounts get free shipping?

Wholesale customers are not eligible for free shipping. We've lowered the wholesale prices on many Josh's Frogs products AND added more brands (Exo Terra, Fluker's, Zilla, Zoo Med, oh my!) to our wholesale selection that weren't previously offered at a discount! Given the lowered cost, wholesale customers will be responsible for shipping charges, or you can pick up at a trade show at which we're vending.
