Here's a helpful guide to our services for the 2025 holiday season. All important dates and their expected service interruptions are listed and organized by each service affected. The schedule is subject to change, so we'll keep this guide as up-to-date as possible. Please check back regularly for updates.

Customer Service

Our Customer Service Department is responsible for assisting customers directly via phone and email, as well as managing all live animal orders and warehouse pickups. This Department will be closed on the following days:

• Thursday, November 27 - Thanksgiving Day
• Wednesday, December 24 - Christmas Eve
• Thursday, December 25 - Christmas Day
• Thursday, January 1, 2026 - New Year's Day

Customer Service may also hold reduced hours on the days surrounding each holiday, depending on staff availability and other factors.

Live Animal Order Fulfillment

Live animal order fulfillment is handled by our Customer Service Department. Live animal shipments are always scheduled with the customer in advance and depart from our facility for delivery the next day via an overnight service. Please take note of the following dates when planning your next live animal shipment:

• Wednesday, November 26: No animals will depart our facility for delivery the next day.
• Thursday, November 27 - Thanksgiving Day: No animals will be delivered on this day or depart our facility for delivery the next day.
• Wednesday, December 24 - Christmas Eve: No animals will be delivered on this day or depart our facility for delivery the next day.
• Thursday, December 25 - Christmas Day: No animals will be delivered on this day or depart our facility for delivery the next day.
• Friday, December 26: No animals will be delivered on this day or depart our facility for delivery the next day.
• Thursday, January 1 - New Year's Day: No animals will depart our facility for delivery the next day.

Warehouse Pickups

Warehouse pickup is a free alternative to shipping that requires the customer to collect their order from our warehouse at a scheduled time. Warehouse pickup is normally available Monday through Friday at both our Owosso and Durand facilities. Pickups are managed by our Customer Service Department and must be scheduled in advance, since our facilities are not open to the public. Warehouse pickups will not be available on the following dates:

• Thursday, November 27 — Friday, November 28
• Wednesday, December 24 – Friday, December 26
• Thursday, January 1 — Friday, January 2, 2026
