Common name(s): Tricolor Peperomia, Peperomia “Ginny”, 

Defining Characteristics:

Care Notes: Sensitive to overwatering that can lead to root rot. Allow soil to dry out before watering. If in a terrarium, look for dark/black leaves as a sign of overwatering. Consider mounting as an epiphyte if soil conditions are too moist. Though peperomia species are often called “baby rubber plants” they are not related to true rubber plant (Ficus spp.) that are toxic to pets. This species (P. Clusiifolia) is considered safe for animal terrariums.
