About This Product

Oxalis triangularis 'Ebony' Allure™, also known as Ebony Shamrock, is an adorable bulb plant that produces very dark purplish-black, triangular shaped leaves on tall, delicate stems. It produces light pink colored blooms that fade to white. Ebony Shamrock can grow to a height of 15" and will form a clump. This plant requires well drained, moist soil and partial shade. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves very quickly. It is more heat tolerant than most shamrocks and therefore makes it a better candidate to stay looking well in the summer heat. It’s also very popular as a unique, quick filling ground cover. Foliage is sensitive to being moved or sudden changes in environment. Damaged foliage may be cut back to ground level and new foliage will appear within a week.

Cutest little plant

This guy came in a little compacted, not damaged but definitely a little sad but literally within a day it started to stand up straight again! Maybe just a little more sensitive to shipping than the rest? (Literally less than 36 hours from when I ordered did I get the plant so not long at all!) Such a pretty plant, like little dark butterflies on alfalfa sprouts. So cute

Tiny and Adorable

The stems are rather compact from shipping but the plant appears to be healthy. I'm just waiting for it to spread its "wings." It is truly a beautiful plant.

Looks beautiful

I got one of these during late winter, the plant was even prettier than the picture and packed super well! I manage to kill every plant I get and this one is doing fantastic still. It's already getting it's first flowers.
