About This Product

This complete kit contains everything you need to keep a chameleon happy and healthy. We do recommend you purchase a live potted plant, either Hawaiian Schefflera or Weeping Fig, which can be purchased from any store that sells house plants.

1. Screen Enclosure

This Screen Terrarium is a perfect habitat for chameleons, that are sensitive to stagnant air. The non-restricted air-flow provides optimal ventilation while minimizing odors and fungus growth in the habitat. The screen design provides a broader temperature gradient, which helps your reptiles to regulate their body temperature more effectively and prevents overheating.

2. Terrarium Liner (24"x12")

This terrarium liner should be cut to fit, and will make the perfect substrate in your chameleon enclosure.

3. Dome Lamps (5.5", 8.5")

The two dome lamps included in the Josh's Frogs chameleon kit will work perfectly with the included 50w basking bulb and 26w UVB 10.0 bulb. Simply plut the bulbs in the heat lamps, and set them on the top screen of the Reptarium.

4. Basking Spot Bulb (50 w)

This Basking Spot will provide your chameleon with the proper basking temperature, vital for digestion and normal activity levels. Leave the Basking Spot on for 12 hours a day, at the same time as the 10.0 UVB bulb.

5. 10.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Bulb (26w)

This bulb produces the UVA and UVB rays vital to the health and wellbeing of your pet chameleon. Place the bulb in the dome lamp, and put that on top of the screen enclosure, next to the basking bulb. Leave the UVB bulb on for 12 hours, and replace the bulb every 6 months.

6. Josh's Frogs Spray Bottle (16 oz)

The Josh's Frogs Spray Bottle is ideal for keeping your chameleon humid, as well as providing it with drops of water to drink off of plant leaves. Generally, you will have to mist 1-2 times a day. Only use dechlorinated tap, spring, distilled, or r/o water.

7. Josh’s Frogs Dechlorinator (4 oz)

Use with water to pull out harmful chlorine. This will help provide the best water for your pet.

8. Josh's Frogs Coco Flexi-Vine x 2

Chameleons require plenty of surface area and branches to climb. In conjunction with a large potted plant, the Josh's Frogs Coco Flexi-Vine is perfect for providing a variety of climbing structures for you pet chameleon. This vine can be bent and shaped in any orientation, and is perfect for providing a basking spot for your chameleon.

9. Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer

Keeping track of your chameleon's temperature and humidity is very important.
